A few years ago I was introduced to Bill by a mutual Facebook friend when I decided to move back to Kingston from overseas. Once the dates were confirmed, Bill managed to find a short term rental property for us and our two dogs for when we arrived in Canada. The next few weeks were spent looking at homes to purchase, and Bill was very patient and helpful in every way. Bill found us the perfect house and in we moved – we loved it! My wife and I met Bill right at the beginning of our home search when we visited an open house that he was hosting in Amherstview. In the course of our conversation with him we were impressed with his knowledge of the various neighbourhoods of Kingston, in particular how it related to our search for an excellent, conveniently located elementary school. As we were new to Kingston, Bill was a terrific ‘full service’ Realtor, putting us in contact with everyone we needed in order to navigate our way through the home buying process, including a great Mortgage Broker, Lawyer, and Home inspector. We found Bill very accessible, quickly returning phone calls, texts, and emails with the inevitable questions or concerns house shoppers often have. These are all the comments I made during my review of Century 21 Realty and most specifically of Bill Stevenson. I first met Bill as he responded to my inquiry of a listing he was representing on Kijiji, unfortunately that listing was already sold by the time I had messaged. However barring that he continued to inquire if I had anyone to represent me as he was knowledgeable of the area and was working with other first time buyers as well at the time. He then without prompting proceeded to provide me with extensive information about several properties in the area that were within my price range but were to be avoided at all costs due to structural issues and hidden details. I was completely caught off guard and pleasantly surprised as he was offering to me information to save me from potential hardship with absolutely no vested interest at that time, this showing me the type of person he truly was.
